Our first video recipe. For us, this dish is comfort food. It is a healthy alternative that is easy to make on a weeknight, producing flavours that are not always “affordably convenient” in Hong Kong restaurants.
(Serving size: 3 to 4)Boil the pasta in a large pot of water and drain well. Set aside. Saute the garlic and red pepper in a little olive oil over medium low heat in a large pan. Just before the garlic turns golden, add the sausage and stir. Sprinkle in some salt. Increase the heat to medium and add the peas. Stir and cook until the peas are warm. Pour in the light cream, stir, and then add the pesto. Reduce the heat to low and stir. Add the pasta, lemon juice, fresh herbs and pepper. Stir well to coat the pasta. Calories: 350-360 calories per serving, low in saturated fat
